Also, for something else new try my recently installed "Bet on the Blues" style. This is one I made way back in the phpbb days, and have cultivated and adapted it to different messageboard distros for about 15 years. It won't be in the running for default however. But it can be your default if you want.

Hard not to love a good blue theme, I've always liked blue themes, very solid :)
