Does anybody else like this show? I really enjoy watching it. I recorded a bunch of episodes today so I can fast forward through the commercials.

The only way to make TV watching tolerable today imo.

I haven’t watched it in a few years, but I used to watch it faithfully. It’s pretty good but I just feel a lot of it is staged.

That's what gives it the feel of being totally scripted, which I imagine it is. Just never could buy the premise for that reason. Pawn Stars got to be way too much that way as well, it's why I stopped watching.

Pawn stars is actually a slum compared to what you see on the show. A few people I know visited there when they went to Vegas.

Yeah I've been there a few times myself. before the show started though.

It's okay to watch but once you see the formula of the show, it's hard to not get bored when the next one comes on. Star goes in, yells at the owners, then tries to be their friend, etc... I like to watch to learn how to do new things with food and to see how people on the other side have it hard so I can be more empathetic when I order my food. I also like to see the makeovers at the end.
