Plot: When paleontologist Kate Lloyd travels to an isolated outpost in Antarctica for the expedition of a lifetime, she joins an international team that unearths a remarkable discovery. A completely unnecessary remake that nobody asked for. Loaded with average CGI, this effort lacks any of the suspense of carpenters effort. It’s not a terrible movie, if Carpenters didn’t exist I might even say it’s good, but better options exist.
