Story

Just a quick question: i'm doing a story, is it okay to use a non British name for one of the main characters? or could that be offensive? idk

idk yet basically i need to find out some names, was thinking iranian etc kinda name cause the character is living in a war zone basically

i'm not going to be using a last name for anyone, just first names

unless i write it so the UK and the USA are at war with each other? idk, it be easier for names if I do that but would the UK and the USA go to war now that Donald Fart is not president?

idk

if it would never happen in a month of sundays, would it still be ok to write it as a USA/UK thing just to make it easier for me? idk
