Gaming helps to combat anxiety and depression

There has been a lot of research that has established that gaming can help you combat stress, anxiety, and depression. While spending 12 hours gaming is not considered good, playing games once in a while for a moderate time can really help you to relax. I play games whenever I feel sad, dejected, and stressed.
 
Over the years I have been gaming from a young age, playing video games has been one of the ways I have been able to shut off, unwind and relax after a tough day or if my mental health isn't feeling the best.

It still baffles me how many people will judge someone for gaming saying they should go out more or they shouldn't be gaming at that age not realizing just how much it helps someone.
