Another one of my nerdy pleasures, Futurama replace The Simpsons in my all time favourite series list. As The Simpsons went on in years it got more and more stale to the point that it really should have been cancelled, but it persists. Futurama, meanwhile, got better and better from season to season and then ended with arguably the best, most poignant ending to a show in animation history (IMO). I wanted more then, I still want more now, but that I got to enjoy it while it lasted is good enough for me. I'm trying to track down the seasons on DVD when I have the money so I can add it to my Plex server and have them forever, but alas...that's a slow going process!

I love Futurama! It is more funny than The Simpsons in my opinion. One of my favorite cartoons!

Who are your favorite characters? Mine are Bender, Fry, and Dr. Zoidberg. 😁

I wish they didn't have issues keeping the show on air over the years it aired. Would have prolonged the fun of binge watching it from start to finish. :D

Season 6 got a bit wonky with all of the 4 part episodes in it. While I don't mind shows like this doing the occasional two part epsides, it felt that they wanted to turn season 6 into several movies, by doing the several episode parts.
