Easy Hamburger Soup

Easy Hamburger Soup

1 pound lean ground beef

1 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced

3-1/2 cups beef broth

1 can diced tomatoes

1 can tomato soup

2 Tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 Tsp. Italian seasonings

1 bay leaf

Salt and pepper, to taste

3 cups mixed vegetables, fresh or frozen.

Brown beef, onion and garlic until no pink remains. Drain. Add potatoes, broth, tomatoes, tomato soup, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings and bay leaf.

Simmer; cover for 10 minutes. Stir in vegetables. Simmer 15-20 minutes,

until potatoes are tender.

I just dumped everything in, after I browned the beef, and it's simmering now. I also added a can of sliced mushrooms, 2 cups of Green Giant Vegetables, I used a large can of diced tomatoes, 798 milliliters, probably your 28 ounce can, and a can of Campbell's condensed tomato soup, 284 milliliters. Probably your 10-1.2 ounce can.

I used a carton of Campbell's beef broth.

It's probably around 3 and a half cups, I didn't measure just poured it in.

I've made this before and it's really good.
