Copying From Microsoft Word

Hello! When I copy from Microsoft Word, it keeps some of the coding & gets all screwy. I tend to write things out in Word then copy/paste them over. Never had this problem before on a forum.
No rush on this. Seeing if I'm the only one who 1- uses Word & copies over & 2- has this problem. Sometimes the problem IS our old computer lol
