Plot: A large spider from the jungles of South America is accidentally transported in a crate with a dead body to America where it mates with a local spider. Soon after, the residents of a small California town disappear as the result of spider bites from the deadly spider offspring. This is an effective jump scare movie, especially if like me, you’re not a fan of these creepy critters. A solid cast seem to be having fun with the material, there’s some great hammed up performances and the effects, for the most part ( let’s not talk about the ending ) are really well done. Worth a watch.
