I think doo-wop is interesting. Anyway, I like a lot of 50s stuff like Sam Cooke. Anyway, the rock music seemed very simple back then and that is attractive. Well, punk rock wanted to get back into that feeling with its rebellion.

My mom grew up in the 50s and 60s and we had a lot of the old 45 records we played all the time. I still love some of the old music and thought it would have been so fun to grow up wearing poodle skirts and have my hair in a ponytail. I liked the liveliness of the music and how it was meant for dancing. Today's music is really awful.
