What's the Meaning Of Your Username?

TLDR: What's the Meaning Of Your Username?
The forum thread involves users discussing the origins and meanings behind their usernames. Key points include: 1. **Personal Connections and Stories**: Many users chose usernames based on personal anecdotes, nicknames, or meaningful stories. For example, Catsmother chose her name because it included "Cat," and Ducktanian's name is a twist on a childhood nickname derived from their surname. 2. **Favorite Things and Interests**: Some usernames reflect users' interests or favorite things, such as LittleTooMuch's favorite song by Shawn Mendes, or Eagleheart's spirit animal and tattoo. 3. **Sports Affiliations**: Usernames also reflect sports team affiliations, as seen with Gooner_87 who supports Arsenal, and discussions about football (soccer) teams among users like Lee and boro_boy. 4. **Privacy and Online Safety**: Harry highlighted the importance of maintaining privacy and safety while interacting online, advising against sharing too much personal information. 5. **Humor and Light-heartedness**: Several usernames were chosen for their humorous or light-hearted nature, such as WhippedCream's reference to liking cream on hot chocolates and Swish's old gaming handle. Overall, the thread showcases a diverse array of reasons behind username choices, ranging from personal and sentimental to humorous and fandom-based.
It could be my real name. But since we are on a board like this, no matter how much we feel bad try not to give too much information about you. Especially on open topics where anyone can read it. The basic rule is that nobody should be able to reach your living place, locality and harm you.

Mine's just basically a nickname from my first name (which I hope is sort of obvious!). I've just changed it to have the two e's on the end as that's how a friend of mine always spelt it (instead of marty) and since I've done that, it's just stuck with me!

Was just a handle of mine when I played Counter Strike Source about 15 years ago. It was "Swish_uk!", but just shortened it.

When I came up with this username way back in 2008, I was super obsessed with Raven from Teen Titans. I still love the series, and Raven is still my favorite DC character but I'm not as obsessed with her as I was back then. However I still like my username, and I don't feel like changing it so it's here to stay. xD I also go by Ravenisawesome on Forum Promotion, since that was the first username I came up with when I first joined a defunct Teen Titans forum.
