That is a good explanation of relationships with those with autism.
It is hard. There is no denying it. A lot of people are shy, and some of them are 100 % ordinary too. I know at least a dozen boys who are too shy to talk to girls. I am almost certain that they won't even offer a handshake if they come across one.
This saga is happening since humans were born out of whatever. But some people are very shy and try not to reach out to gain a partner. Winning another person is no joke.

Just do whatever is best for you. People will appreciate that things may be hard for you and will accept you for who you are. xAs I do have Asperger's myself and a few other mental health issues, relations and even communication by talking is hard for me personally. I do prefer writing to another for communication myself.
My husband has Autistm so while one can struggle with relationships with Autism that doesn't mean they are impossible.
