Shopping as a Therapy

TLDR: Shopping as a Therapy
In the forum thread, user Nomad initiates a discussion on the therapeutic effects of shopping, describing personal feelings of relaxation and pleasure after purchasing items. Nomad seeks to know if others have consciously used shopping as therapy or have similarly experienced positive emotions post-shopping. The thread invites users to share their experiences regarding the emotional impact of shopping, whether as a deliberate therapeutic activity or a casual enjoyment.
I find shopping therapeutic. I don't just go to a shopping mall or start browsing products in an online store when I am feeling down or I am stressed out, however, whenever I go shopping and buy products, I feel lighthearted, I feel relaxed, I feel pleasant. Has anyone tried shopping as a therapy? Even if you have not tried shopping as a therapy, have you experienced pleasure after shopping?
