I realised recently that I do this , all the time and it doesn't actually help my anxiety any more I think it is contributing to it! anyone else experience this? I have daily planners, journals, to do lists, notebooks, organisers, ( I do love stationery! ) but feel it becomes something of an obsession, I am starting to miss important stuff rather than it helping me. Some how it gives me comfort though knowing it is in a nice list , preferably highlighted.

I don't experience this but it certainly sounds like it could be an obsession.

I love having lists but I hate making them so I rarely write them at all.

I think they'd be useful but I'm just not organised 😂

I find myself frequently making lists, but seldom updating them or even referring back to them.. 😆

Sometimes I think it just helps to jot a few thoughts or ideas down on a bit of paper.

Hmm this might help you but it also can turn it into chaos as list usually include words and most words are not the same length.
