Homemade Banana Pudding



3-4 bananas

1/2 box vanilla wafers

3/4 cup sugar

3 tablespoons flour

3 cups milk

4 egg yolks

1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 tablespoon butter

4 egg whites

1/4 teaspoon cream of tarter

6 tablespoons sugar



Combine 3/4 sugar, egg yokes and 1 cup milk mix well. Add remaining milk

and stir cook over medium heat until thick stirring constantly. Remove from

heat. Add butter and vanilla. Stir and

set aside.



Layer vanilla wafers, bananas and pudding. Beat egg whites and cream of

tarter until foamy. Add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time, while beating. Add 1

teaspoon vanilla. Beat until stiff. Spread on

top of pudding, Bake in 350 oven 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
