Game addiction

TLDR: Game addiction
In the forum thread, Nomad discusses their perspective on video game addiction among kids and teens, contrasting their own upbringing without video games to the current prevalence of gaming in young people's lives. Nomad suggests that while not completely against video games, there should be limits set on gaming time to encourage engagement in diverse activities. Nighttimelaughter responds by sharing their personal experience, noting that they used to spend excessive time on video games but now prioritize completing daily responsibilities like eating, chores, and exercise before gaming. This change has helped them manage the potential negative impacts of prolonged gaming, especially during the night.
Are you addicted to video games? Well, I am not addicted to video games. When I was growing up, my father did not allow us to play video games. Instead of video games, we were given storybooks. However, these days, I see 99 percent of kids and teens addicted to video games. Well, I don't mean to say kids should not be allowed to playing video games, what I mean is we need to limit their video game time and instead get the involved with other activities.

I spent a lot of time playing them but I decided that I get everything else out of the way, I eat, do my chores and exercise then when it’s the evening I play my games so being inactive doesn’t hurt me as much as night as it’s just a few hours till I settle down to sleep but I used to play it 8 hours a day with not many breaks
