My husband is very tight when it comes to tips and he still is tight even with great food and service. It doesn't do me any good to suggest to tip higher, because he won't. I usually slip the waiter/waitress extra money on the side when he doesn't see me. LOL I have told him, honey, we go back to these restaurants all of the time and do you want to be known as a tight wad. He claims if he gives higher tips I won't get a new car. How's that for rationalizing. :ROFLMAO:
