Barbecued Chicken Wings

12 chicken wings

1/4 cup ketchup

1 Tbs. sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

2 Tbs. finely chopped garlic

1 Tbs. oil

1 Tbs. hoisin sauce

2 tsp. soy sauce

1 tsp. finely chopped ginger root

Cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pieces. Discard tips. Mix

remaining ingredients in medium bowl. Stir in chicken pieces until

well coated. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Place chicken with

marinade in ungreased 13X9 pan. Bake uncovered at 450 for 30

minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 375. Turn chicken and bake 20

minutes or until done and sauce is absorbed.
