Are masks being mandated again?

TLDR: Are masks being mandated again?
In a forum thread discussing the current status of mask mandates, users shared diverse experiences from their respective locations: - **Lammchen** noted that some states are encouraging the use of high-quality masks like N95s and KN95s. - **Guest** reported no mask mandates in any setting, including hospitals, in their area. - **Lyna121** mentioned that while masks are not mandatory, people continue to wear them voluntarily. - **lavalamp** observed that masks are encouraged but not widely worn in their community, though they remain mandatory in hospital and medical settings. Lavalamp also shared a personal choice of not wearing masks much after recovering from COVID-19 earlier in the year. - **Nebulous** expressed a strong dislike for masks and a hope that they do not return. - **willowtigger** indicated that masks have been reintroduced on the wards at the hospital where they work. Overall, the thread reflects a mix of personal preferences and local policies, with some areas implementing or maintaining mask mandates, particularly in medical settings, while others have relaxed or do not enforce such requirements.
Are masks being mandated again where you live?

I see some states encouraging it and at least one state I saw has the right idea about recommending N95s and KN95s. Those masks are the ones that will protect you the most!

Nothing going on here, mask-wise. Not even in hospitals or doctor's offices or clinics yet. Suspect that's the first place we'll see mask requirement.

Where I live, they are encouragd but most people don't wear them now.

Although, people in hospital and medical sertinga still have to wear them.

I personally don't wear one much anymore, especially as I had covid earlier this year.
