Where'd everybody go?

TLDR: Where'd everybody go?
In the forum thread, users discuss the decline in activity on their forum. Safeinsanity suggests that the admins should send out a monthly newsletter to engage members, which receives some support. Ozzy47 mentions that many users have migrated to other forums, specifically Lee's and Catsmother's sites, though Catsmother's site is currently closed. This closure seems to contribute to a cycle of instability that some users find appealing. Safeinsanity points out that Catsmother's practice of notifying members about updates could be emulated to increase engagement in their forum. Additionally, MamaFrankie shares a personal update about grieving for a lost pet, receiving condolences from other members. Willowtigger also mentions being busy with work as a reason for less frequent visits. Overall, the thread highlights concerns about decreasing forum activity and discusses potential strategies to re-engage members while also touching on personal reasons affecting users' participation.
I know it's been pretty slow in here for a while but this is getting ridiculous!

Maybe the admins should send out a monthly news letter featuring articles/posts and reminding members via email about the forum? What do you think?

No, they won’t cycle back, at least not for long.

Seems the instability of a site being open/closed constantly is what is preferred, instead of a stable site.

Hope she reopens soon for her friends.

It's probably the only excitement they have! 😂

But seriously, I notice that when cat creates a new forum or reopens a forum she mass emails members to let them know. That's why they keep coming back. The same affect could be achieved here by creating a monthly newsletter containing featured posts or articles like I mentioned before.
