Yemen and Somalia. Both incredibly poor countries that are in the middle of civil wars.

I'll also add Western Sahara (if that counts; only about 40 countries consider Western Sahara to be its own country, while the rest consider it to be part of Morocco). There's basically nothing there, except for loads and loads of sand - so, the only reasons I'd ever go there are: a) if I wanted to build myself a massive sandcastle, or b) if I needed to hide from Darth Vader.
