Upside to living with mental illness

When people think of it as something they cannot control, they find that they are now abled instead of disabled. Even if they need a bit of extra help, when you step back, all people need a 'handicap' with something in their lives. Accepting it doesn't mean lying there in a pity party. It just means accepting who you are & knowing that life will be hard but that you are in fact Alive.

Accepting who you are is the most difficult thing. Well, you can see another person and judge the person based on his actions and words, but in order to see yourself, you needa mirror.

Depression never helped at all, I feel bad when I am ddepressed. Without control over my emotions, it could've led to my premature mental illness.
