Strawberry Swirl Coffeecake

Strawberry Swirl Coffeecake
3/4 cup butter softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sour cream
strawberry preserves
sugar

Grease 2 9 by 5 inch loaf pans. Combine the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla
and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Alternately beat in the dry
ingredients with the sour cream. Spoon most of the batter in to the pans.
Reserving just enough to cover the tops. Spread a thin layer of preserves on
too the batter. Swirl with a fork. Cover with the reserved batter. Dost tops
with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
