REMARKABLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar, firmly packed
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp. honey
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. chocolate liqueur
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine butter and sugars in a large metal bowl.
Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Beat in sour
cream, honey, egg, vanilla and liqueur. Beat until fluffy.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another mixing bowl. Mix into
butter mixture at low speed until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop slightly rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart on cookie
sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Do not overbake. Cool 2 minutes
on baking sheet. Remove onto wire rack. Makes about seven dozen cookies.
