Reasons I Like Lockdown 🙂

My top reasons why lockdown is awesome

1: I’m kept safe
2: I’m helping to keep others safe
3: I get to stay home in the warm
4: I can catch up on much needed jobs around the house
5: I get to spend more time on here
6: I’ve learned new skills and engaged in old and forgotten interests and hobbies
7: The expectation to go out and socialise is no longer present
8: The streets are quieter
9: There’s more nature around
10: I’ve made new friends online

Definitely agree with not socialising, doesn't bother me one bit. I also actually like staying at home

my reasons are I don't have to commute into work thus saving money and getting to spend more time with my family and pets, the roads are quieter. however, i can think of far more reasons to not like lockdown than to like it

I guess it depends on the individual, I’m antisocial so it suits me perfectly

But it’s more a point of necessity, safety comes before anything else, which is why I hope those that are selfish enough to deliberately flout the rules and put everyone else in danger because they want to party or whatever catch the virus and die from it.

Maybe a harsh opinion, but it’s my opinion and it’s valid

i'm quite enjoying having an excuse not to see people or go out, but i have to admit i do miss being able to go into uni classes and grab a coffee and a sausage roll afterwards-that greggs visit was the highlight of my day!

An unusual sentiment, but I'm glad you like it !

I find it's annoying, but there are some positives. Not having to commute to work is definitely one, as is the chance to get back into old hobbies (in my case, I've been spending more time with my model trains )

People have lost their businesses and depression and psychological issues are rampant. Hard to believe what I've read about liking lockdowns. I chose all I wanted to do in my life when there were no lockdowns. Lockdowns are prisons.
