Peanut Butter Squares
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
Cream margarine, peanut butter and brown sugar.
Blend in egg and vanilla.
Add flour and mix well.
Spread in to a 9 by 13 inch baking pan, that has been greased, or use
cooking spray.
I used a smaller rectangular one, because these don't rise, so don't want
them too thin.
Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread with icing.
Chill. Cut in to squares.
Icing:
1 to 2 tbsp. margarine
1 to 2 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
Melt ingredients together in microwave.
Enjoy!
