OUTSTANDING STUFFED MUSHROOMS

OUTSTANDING STUFFED MUSHROOMS

I made these for company, on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
I put parchment paper on the cookie sheet.
They were very good! And, Armando told me, you could take the mushroom stems
out with your fingers. I tried it, and it worked.
I'd make these again.
I also made these last December, for a family get together, where we were
asked to take appetizers, and I made at least 50, I brought home an empty
dish.

24 medium mushrooms, stems removed and chopped
2 green onions, finely chopped
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Combine all the ingredients except mushroom caps, mix thoroughly. Spoon
mixture into caps, mounding slightly in center. Bake at 350 degrees for
20-25 minutes.
