Nature therapy?

TLDR: Nature therapy?
In the forum thread, Lammchen inquires about the concept of Nature Therapy, sharing personal experiences of how being outdoors positively impacts mental and physical health. Butterfly88 responds by introducing the concept of wilderness therapy, providing a link to an article for further reading, and mentions personal experience with recreational therapy that sometimes occurs outdoors. Both participants agree on the therapeutic benefits of nature, and Butterfly88 confirms that these ideas have been established for some time.
Is there such a thing as Nature Therapy? I know for myself that being out in nature daily really helps to clear my mind and the physical activity from my hikes is good not only for my physical being but my mental one as well.

There is something called wilderness therapy which takes place outdoors. I'll link an article about it if you are interested.

I agree nature can be very therapeutic. Also, I once participated in a recreational therapy group which sometimes took place outdoors. So if you like the outdoors and want to improve your mental health you have some options.

That sounds really cool! It sounds like the idea has been around for quite a while!
