Mental Health Issues in Men and Women

Men and women are affected differently by mental health issues. It is generally believed that women are vocal about mental health, whereas men are too shy to talk bout their mental health issues. According to World Health Organization, Women have more mental health issues compared to men, but men are diagnosed with anti-social behaviors more than women. Women between the ages of 16-24 are three times more likely to suffer from mental health issues compared to men of the same age group.

I think women has lots of things running on their minds, during such age which you stated according to W.H.O. I believe during that age of 16-24, they are facing the tussle of relationship decisions, and other unbeknownst challenges which is internal to them. Men do think, but they hardly express it out, they hold it, and take life simple. Women simply think more about it because they aren't strong like the men.

The difference is due to social stigma, and due to pressure from society. We all know women mature faster, and with it they start to think about deeper things, hence they develop more mental issues faster, but they also have more opportunities to get rid of them, while boys are usually labeled as "Just being boys" .
