Had to fix my AC! Woke up this morning to a warm house it was 80 degrees! Outdoor unit not running. Quickly I determined the relay contacts were carbonized. 9 bucks for a new relay had to run to downtown Amarillo for, and was back up and cooling before it reached 90 in the house.

Sumbitch! Woke up again this morning, 4:30 AM to a hot house! 80 degrees in here for crying out loud. This time it was the run capacitor on the outdooor unit. I just so happened to have a spare one of those laying around. Waited until daylight, went out there and changed the bastard out. 74 in here now as I type.

I cleaned up the kitchen, there were lots of dishes lying around the place that was frustrating to look at.
