Fresh Strawberries And Cream
2 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
Dash of salt
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup whipping cream
2 pints fresh, sliced strawberries or other fresh berries
Sprinkle brown sugar and salt over sour cream. Let stand for a few minutes. Gently fold whipping cream into sour cream mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to allow flavors to blend. Serve over fresh berries.
Makes 1 1/4 cups.
