Easy Apple Dessert
Try it with a spice cake mix and peaches for a yummy variation!
4 to 5 apples, cored, peeled and chopped
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 sticks butter, melted and divided
1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon and 1 stick butter in an ungreased glass 9 by 13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cake mix; drizzle with remaining butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Makes 15 servings.
