Do you like to walk alone or with others?

TLDR: Do you like to walk alone or with others?
The forum thread discusses individual preferences and practices regarding walking alone or with company. ZandraJoi enjoys the benefit of living on acreage, allowing frequent walks with her dog and occasionally her husband, using the time for reflection or to unwind. She also engages in identifying local wildlife and plants during her walks. Svjiminfxv prefers company for longer walks or when walking at night due to discomfort with being alone in the dark. Burtie, on the other hand, expresses a preference for walking alone, humorously noting that he is not part of a group that would necessitate company. Overall, the thread highlights varied preferences for companionship during walks, influenced by factors such as safety, enjoyment, and personal comfort.
We live on acreage so I'm fortunate to be able to take walks often. Just need to walk out our door. My mind tends to wander. Sometimes I will take a walk purposely to go round & round in my head something I'm trying to figure out. Other times it's to vent. My dog is a good listener & she keeps me company. I sometimes take walks with my husband. But for the most part, I take a good 2 to 3 walks a day with our dog. I also have our state's field guides for trees, butterflies, birds & I challenge myself to identify what I see out there.

If it is daytime, I don't mind going around the corner by myself. When it comes to going long distances though, I want someone to come with me.
If it is dark outside, I want someone to come with me around the corner as I don't like being out by myself at night.
