Beef & Broccoli
1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, 3/4 inch thick
2 cups broccoli flowerets
1 medium onion, cut into wedges
1 can beef gravy ( Franco-American)
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
4 cups hot cooked rice
Method: Slice beef into thin strips. Spray skillet with vegetable cooking spray and heat over medium heat 1 minute. Stir-fry broccoli and onion until tender-crisp. Set aside. Remove pan from heat. Spray with cooking spray. Add beef in 2 batches and cook until browned. Set aside. Add gravy, soy sauce, and garlic. Return beef and vegetables to pan and heat through. Serve over rice. Serves 4.
