BBC One-minute World News

TLDR: BBC One-minute World News
The forum thread primarily features a series of YouTube video links posted by user Ozzy47, covering various topics. The discussion includes minimal interaction between users, with the exception of a few comments from user mist and Harry. Mist expresses skepticism about the credibility of the BBC, a sentiment that Ozzy47 agrees with, suggesting that information from the BBC should be taken with caution. Harry discusses the incident involving Belarus redirecting a flight, describing it as a violation of international norms and a significant challenge to modern air travel principles. He also criticizes local media for being biased and influenced by political parties, highlighting the importance of alternative information sources like social media and YouTube for uncovering the truth. Harry further comments on the complexities of media coverage regarding political issues, such as the situation between Gaza and Israel and the actions of the United Nations. Overall, the thread reflects concerns about media bias and the reliability of traditional news sources, while also emphasizing the role of alternative media in providing different perspectives on global events.
It was really a slap on international norms when Belarus chose to redirect that flight. A plane always inherits international protection when they switch air spaces. For a single man or single personal cause, this is completely a challenge on how modern air travel is defined.

The local media we have is very biased. Almost all of them are in the pocket of a couple of political parties. I really don't how people would know the truth if not for social media and platforms like YouTube.

There is a lot of news about Gaza and Israel. And the things that are happening in UN, related to this issue.

I read the news today. The term it " a country hijacked a plane ". It does sound funny, but not a good thing. I do not know which side is correct. This is politics, anyone could outplay the other side. And media are not known for truth, they also have profit in mind, which they want to increase every year.
