Alternative therapies, do they work?

Alternative medicine suggests a lot of alternative therapies for mental disorders, such as yoga, meditation, acupuncture, acupressure, massage, etc. Do you think alternative therapies for mental disorders actually work? Let's say someone is suffering from a personality disorder, anxiety disorder, or depression, can he heal through alternative therapies?

If one is suffering from the above-mentioned disorders, then it means alternative therapies can help him or her get back to normalcy. It doesn't mean that when you're feeling some personality disorders, you seek medical attention. One can simply heal him or herself by using excercise therapy or entertainment therapies to keep the mind free from burden.

For some people, a food intolerance can cause mental & emotional problems. If people don't believe that, just look at how coffee & sugar can affect a person's mental state! Food intolerances don't always just create gastro problems. It can cause brain fog, fatigue, depression, anxiety.
Exercise, meditation can help the body & the mind. Even a simple walk in nature, focusing on your surroundings, can uplift the moods. Also having a social life, talking with trusted family & friends.
While it may not "cure" all, they are good treatments.
