Endoacopy

TLDR: Endoacopy
In a forum thread, user Lee shared their experience of undergoing an endoscopy, expressing initial nervousness due to health anxiety but finding the procedure manageable with the aid of a sedative. Lee reported that their ulcers had healed, although they were diagnosed with erosive gastritis and biopsies were taken for further testing. User mist expressed a dislike for endoscopic examinations, particularly noting a negative experience due to the absence of sedatives. Lee and mist discussed the challenges of the procedure, especially for those with health anxiety. Catsmother offered support and well wishes for Lee's results. Lee also mentioned an upcoming CT angiogram to check for early onset heart disease, reflecting a proactive approach to managing their health. The conversation highlighted the emotional and physical challenges of medical procedures and the importance of support and understanding from others.
Ulcers have healed, but I have erosive gastritis.

They have also taken some biopsies for further testing of some of the infected tissue.

I hate the wait before hand, I always find the procedure nowhere near as bad as I anticipate it to be.

Todays was fine, the sedative works wonders :)

Ahh, I wasn’t allowed sedatives when I had mine so I almost choked to death 😑

I had the first one without, I found once I managed to get it past the tonsils it was better.

I went for the sedative this time due to nerves. I have health anxiety, so the wait for these things are huge triggers.
