Last time you bought music?

TLDR: Last time you bought music?
In a forum thread discussing the last time users paid for music, participants shared varied experiences: - **Lammchen** mentioned using an iTunes gift card a few years ago to download songs for offline listening at work, due to restrictions on using company WiFi. - **Shortie** last bought music in December for a charity single, aiming to support the charity and help the artists achieve a Christmas number one, though they didn’t reach the top spot. - **burtie** recently purchased old CDs to use in a guest bedroom that doubles as a reading room and is considering buying a Bluetooth speaker for playing binaural beats. - **Jay™** and **Lee** discussed their shift to using Spotify, highlighting the convenience of streaming services. Jay™ also noted a recent price increase for Spotify in Canada, which Lee contextualized with the cost of his family plan. Overall, the thread reflects a trend towards streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, with occasional purchases for specific needs or charitable causes. The conversation also touched on the impact of music streaming service pricing and personal audio setups.
When is the last time you paid for music?

It's been a few years for me and I had an iTunes Gift Card. I picked out some songs to go on my iPod so I could listen to good music at work. I wasn't allowed to use the company wifi so I needed music actually loaded onto my device.

The last time I paid for music was in December when I bought a single that was out for charity to give to the charity and also to help the artists hit Christmas number 1. They missed out on the top spot but I was able to help a charity with my purchase.

I bought some old cds a few months back. I am planning to put a cd player in my guest bedroom. When no one is visiting it will be a peaceful reading room.

I am considering buying a Bluetooth speaker simply to play binaural beats all day. They really help soothing my mind. I can take the speaker from room to room. The speaker can also be used on camping & travel expeditions.
