Monster, anvil-shaped high country thunderstorms yesterday dropping lemon-sized hail in some places, these storms were topping out around 40,000 feet. Stripped my trees... More intense ones expected today possibly tornadic, in fact my county is already under a tornado watch. I got 7 inches of rain yesterday. Been cleaning up the mess and damage all day today.

May 11 1970 I was in an EF5 tornado on avenue Q in Lubbock Texas under a pickup truck. Over 100 we're killed in that one. I was eight years old. City all but demolished.
