Vegetable Meat Loaf

Pour tomato sauce over the top during the last 1/2 hour of baking for an extra-juicy topping.
1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
1.4-oz. pkg. vegetable soup mix
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/3 to 1/2 c. milk
Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl; mix well. Shape into an 8"x4" loaf; place on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
