Roadmap out of Lockdown.

TLDR: Roadmap out of Lockdown.
The forum thread discusses UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson's announcement of a four-step roadmap for lifting COVID-19 lockdown restrictions in England, aiming for a complete reopening by June 21, 2021. Key aspects of the plan include the reopening of schools on March 8, lifting the stay-at-home order on March 29, and gradually reopening various sectors like outdoor hospitality, non-essential retail, and indoor leisure facilities over subsequent months. The plan also mentions potential use of vaccine certificates and emphasizes that the lifting of restrictions will depend on four tests related to vaccine rollout, vaccine effectiveness, hospital pressure, and new virus variants. Forum members generally expressed a mix of skepticism and hope regarding the government's handling of the situation. Some users are eager for the lockdown to end and normal activities to resume, while others enjoy aspects of the lockdown or distrust the government's competence. The conversation also touched on the likelihood of needing annual COVID-19 vaccinations, similar to flu shots. Overall, the sentiment on the forum was cautiously optimistic about the roadmap, though tempered by distrust and humor regarding the government's abilities. The changes discussed apply only to England, with coordination mentioned among leaders of the devolved administrations.
We still have a partial lockdown. Public services have been shut down, gatherings of people have been prohibited, schools and colleges are shut down. The restrictions will be lifted in two days.

Boris Johnson the prime minister of U.K have shown that he has a better plan to get the people out of covid 19 obscurity. I believe the lock down isn't as effective as it used to be especially during the first wave.
