POLISH MEATBALLS

Celery leaves

Pepper to taste

1 onion, chopped

3 lb. meatball mixture (1/2 veal & 1/2 pork -- available at a Polish meat market already mixed)

Cracker crumbs (about 1 pkg. 2 inch sq. crackers)

1 can cream of chicken soup, diluted

1/8 tsp. marjoram

2 eggs, whipped

Salt to taste

Mix meat, marjoram, salt, pepper, eggs, onion, and cracker crumbs together. Line pan with celery leaves. Roll meat mixture into balls and place in pan

touching each other. Cover with soup. Cook at 300 degrees for about 2 1/2 hours turning 2 or 3 times.
