Meringues
2 egg whites beaten stiff
3 fourths cup sugar
One half teaspoon cream of tarter
Pinch of salt
One half teaspoon vanilla or peppermint flavoring or one fourth teaspoon peppermint extract
One and one half cups chocolate chips.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 2 cookie sheets. Beat egg whites til they begin to get thick. Ad cream of tarter, salt and sugar a little at a time. Beat til they are a little stiffer. They should be stiff. Add peppermint extract. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Turn off oven when you put them in and leave over night.
