Maple-Pecan Fudge

Maple-Pecan Fudge
3 cups sugar
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
3/4 cup butter
1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon maple flavoring
1/2 to 1 cup pecans, chopped
In saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a full rolling boil; continue stirring constantly at a full boil for 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and marshmallow cream; stir in vanilla and maple flavoring. Add nuts, if desired. Pour warm fudge into a greased 7x11 inch pan. Let set for several hours to overnight; cut into squares.
Makes 2-1/2 dozen squares.
