Is Coffee Good in Depression

Generally speaking, it is believed that caffeine is not good when you are battling health conditions like depression, anxiety, and stress. However, the research points out just the opposite. Research shows that anti-inflammatory properties in coffee ease depression synptms. Caffeine in coffee blocks mood-depressing chemicals and also the receptors that cause depression. By stimulating the nervous system, caffeine works as antidepressant.

I can't even remember the last time I took coffee in my life. At the moment I am feeling the heat of stress which is causing me headache due to lack of proper sleep.

In my opinion it is not good as we mostly don't understand how it works. When you drink coffee there is a waiting time until the caffeine kicks in. Also, it does it in 2 waves, which means that in the time of 8h that the caffeine is in your body you get 2 boosts on around 4h shifts, at least that's what I heard. So people who are usually depressed would drink 1 coffee in the morning and one in the afternoon, and it would contribute to their sleep that most of us can't really get anyway.

Problem with coffee is that it gets you to stay up all night. And that leads to your mind thinking more. The more you sleep on regular time that helps better and coffee can get in between that. I feel that it affects on that part and not really contribute to depression but act like catalyst.
