GRANDMA CARR'S CHOCOLATE JUMBOS
Cream together: 1 c. shortening (Crisco)
Add 2 eggs. Add 2 cups molasses. Add 1/2 cup hot water mixed with 2 teaspoons soda. Add: 1/2 tsp. cloves 4 heaping tbsp. cocoa 6 c. flour
Mix well and chill at least 1 hour. Roll and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes on lightly greased cookie sheet. When cool, ice with butter icing. Makes
4-5 dozen.
