Favourite American Dishes?

Now, I don't mean American fast-food, I mean regional dishes, like Southern style cuisine and etc. Can any American friends online recommend me some restaurants in the US that serve this kind of cuisine?

Cajun cuisine has caught in the US - as restaurants like Popeyes and Bojangles specialize in it. It is very spicy if done right, I think. Anyway, Cajuns are a transplanted French people from Canada. They live mostly in Louisiana it seems.
