Family Favorite Fudge

Family Favorite Fudge

Brenda KauffmanHarrisburg, PA

This creamy fudge recipe was given to my mother by my aunt back in the 1950's. My mother passed it onto me and now my family enjoys it just like I did as I was growing up.

1 c. butter

4 c. sugar

12-oz. can evaporated milk

12-oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

13-oz. jar marshmallow creme

Combine butter, sugar and milk in a heavy saucepan; boil for 20 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips and marshmallow creme until melted and smooth. Pour into a 13"x9" ungreased baking pan; set aside until firm. Cut into squares to serve. Makes 6 dozen.
