Question Eat or Avoid favorite foods?

With your eating disorder, do you find that you tend to eat your favorite food and then don't eat much else, or do you completely stay away from that food because you know you can't maintain control?

When I had my eating disorder, I found that I did a little bit of both. There were some food items I knew I had to stay away from but chocolate was one thing I gave into but only sparingly so that I could control it. I allowed a certain amount and that was it.

If the foods that you enjoy eating are not harmful to you, I do not think it is too bad to continue eating these foods. Why should you fight over your food when eating these foods will make you feel good? However, if the foods you enjoy will deteriorate your health, you should stop eating these foods.

OMG, I have been avoiding pizza for 3 months now and it's killing me. I love pizza, my favorite toppings are green peppers and onion. I could eat pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Je adore pizza. I don’t think I could give it up.
I wasent easy but I did it and dont regret it. Because the average slice of pizza is 500 calories. I usually eat 4 pices and thats 2000 calories. Which makes it easy for me to give it up.
