Easy Butterscotch Cake
1 (4 serving size) box butterscotch pudding mix, not instant
2 cups milk
1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
2 cups butterscotch chips
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In saucepan, combine pudding mix and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in cake mix. Pour into greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with butterscotch chips and nuts. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
